Premashing screws

The premashing screw facilitates the pumping of mash instead of conveying grist over long distances in case of a greater distance between raw material handling plant and brewhouse.

The construction as a tubular screw ensures a constant and even mixing of the grist with the mashing water. An integrated pump allows mashing in “from below”, which is associated with a reduced oxygen uptake by the mash. The Künzel premashing screw is made entirely of stainless steel and is integrated in the CIP cleaning of the brewhouse.
